    Our principles

We are guided by our principles here at Grant, and our commitment to reducing the impact on the environment both locally and globally is in our DNA. We live and breathe by our four following principles:

    • We build highly reliable products designed to have long operating lifecycles, this allows energy to be consumed economically over the life of a product
    • We use a localised supply chain wherever possible, so that components are sourced close to our manufacturing location
    • We use intelligent transportation to reduce emissions, so our suppliers, distributors and customers can be confident that the transportation of goods is managed responsibly
    • We value all the resources used in our manufacturing and business operations, and work to reduce our energy and water consumption and recycle materials where possible

    Our mission statement

To have a positive impact on our communities and strive to be a responsible business by being environmentally and socially responsible both locally and globally and that champions best environmental practices.

    Our climate commitment

Grant have committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050 as part of the UK’s Business Climate Leaders campaign. We will take concrete steps to reduce our emissions as part of our environmental commitment to limit global warming to 1.5°C and to ensure the long-term stability of the climate.

We believe strong actions on the climate crisis will help protect our wildlife and our habitats and companies must complement climate strategies with goals designed to protect and conserve nature for human prosperity. Together, we will build a sustainable future.
